1) Jumping Jacks — Nothing gets your cardio level up quicker, and besides, you’ll feel like you’re a kid again! And try alternating with jogging in place if you feel like kicking it up a notch.
2) Stair Stepping — If you don’t have stairs, use a big book (or sturdy chair) and step up and down while watching your favorite TV show. This keeps your body (and mind) active and healthy.
3) Push-Ups — Another fantastic and highly-effective exercise. And do them however they’re comfortable to you — on your knees, against a wall, etc. Any which way, you’re building up arm strength and working out muscles in your chest area — which will make you feel stronger and more fit
4) Dance, Dance, Dance! — Dancing is a wonderful exercise, and great for your heart. And not only that, but it can also lift your spirits and give your overall feeling of well-being a boost. So in the privacy of your own home, turn up the tunes and dance to your heart’s content!
