Try to never sit for longer than 30 minutes at a time!

Dr. Arpine Saribeykan (Family Medicine, Palliative Care) recommends never sitting for more than 30 minutes straight, as your metabolism slows and makes it harder to burn calories when you’re active.

Sitting actually weakens muscles, and you’re not even using your largest muscle groups (legs & core) when sitting.

So take at least a couple minutes every half hour to stretch and move!
