MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (August 19, 2013) — Middletown Medical, a multi-specialty physicians’ group dedicated to providing patients with the Hudson Valley’s best and most comprehensive healthcare services, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Kesha James, a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with a wealth of experience from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Most recently, Dr. James was a Staff Physician with East Arkansas Family Health Centers in West Memphis, Ark., where she served as the Physician Champion for the Patient Centered Medical Home initiative, achieving the highest recognition possible.
“Dr. James is an individual whose passion and enthusiasm for people comes shining through upon first meeting her,” said Lori Marl, Operations Director. “She’s enjoyed an extreme amount of success, along with the highest patient ratings, wherever she’s been. We’re just glad she has decided to make Middletown Medical her home.”
A graduate of The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (New Jersey Medical School) in Newark, Dr. James earned her B.S. In Biology from Spelman College in Atlanta. Between the two, she was awarded a Certificate of Completion in the Med Prep Post Baccalaureate Program from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), Dr. James completed her residency in Family Medicine with the University of Alabama Birmingham in Huntsville. She’s also been a Staff Physician with The Memphis Health Center and Baptist Minor Medical Clinics in Memphis.
