Middletown Medical has announced the expansion of its Headache Center to its Pine Bush location at 59 Boniface Drive to better serve patients seeking head pain management services.
Headache Center Director Dr. Uri Napchan is a board-certified neurologist who is also board-certified in pain medicine with a sub-specialty in headache medicine. He is an expert in migraine care, as well as determining the most appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans for each of his patients.
He is an advocate for neuro-preventative health education, which includes teaching physical, mental, and social activities that help the brain protect itself against neurological disorders.
“We are excited to be able to extend our reach of headache care to Pine Bush,” said Melissa Wolff, the medical group’s Marketing Director and Physician Recruiter. “By adding office hours at an additional location, we will be able to better accommodate our patients, and give them peace of mind by addressing their neurological pain sooner.”
Dr. Napchan completed his residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. and a fellowship in pain medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, La. He completed additional fellowships in headache medicine and neuroscience at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, N.Y.
Dr. Napchan was also an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, N.Y., serves as a guest lecturer on topics in headache medicine, and has published numerous articles and studies.
