The We Have Heart Program is designed to bring awareness to your potential heart risk. Those who score over 10% are encouraged to take steps to improve heart health and seek the advice of a Healthcare Cardiac Provider. It is always recommended that if you feel you are having a heart attack you should call 911 or go to your local ER. If you have a pre-existing known heart condition this program is not for you, you should consult with your Cardiologist directly. (Click here to meet our Cardiology team). The data you provide is based on your personal patient data input into the Framingham Heart Study Risk Calculator. Middletown Medical will not see or retain the results of your score. Submittals requesting a free CT Scan through this program are not monitored the same as a regular request to see a provider for medical attention. Notifications of submittals sent to Middletown Medical may be evaluated daily, and there is no guarantee that you will be selected. However, if your risk score is above 10% it is encouraged that you reach out to your cardiologist directly and not solely through this program. Middletown Medical reserves the right to cancel this program at any time. Middletown Medical reserves the right to suspend the issuance of a CT heart scan to any person who based on medical reasons should not have a CT heart Scan. In the event that your CT Heart Scan shows a risk to your health Middletown medical will refer you to a Cardiologist. Visits beyond that of the initial visit are not covered by this program and will result in a cost to the patient or their insurance provider. Only four free CT Scans will be awarded for each day of the month of March. It may take 48 hours for the staff of Middletown Medical to reply to your request for this program. If you are in need of immediate assistance due to a heart-related concern we advise you to go to your local ER.
