Jorge L. Reynoso is a certified physician assistant, holding credentials from the National Commission on Certified Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He holds over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare field.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Reynoso served patients at the Surgical Affiliates Management Group in Newburgh, N.Y., Lawrence Hospital Center in Bronxville, N.Y., and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, N.Y. As a Physician Assistant, Mr. Reynoso has experience in Robotic Surgery, General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Breast Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery.
In addition, Mr. Reynoso served in the United States Army for 8 years, in which time he served as a Medical Health Care Specialist, Emergency Health Care Supervisor, Emergency Treatment Supervisor, and Ambulance Section Supervisor.
Throughout his military service, Mr. Reynoso was awarded the rank of Staff Sergeant along with one Army Commendation Medal, three Army Achievement Medals, two Army Good Conduct Medals, Army Primary Leadership Development Course Ribbon, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.
Mr. Reynoso earned his Master of Science in the Post Professional Physician Assistant Program at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, N.Y., and his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, N.Y.
He possesses specialty certifications in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, and advanced trauma life support. Mr. Reynoso is also certified in Child Abuse and Neglect/Maltreatment Identification.
