Prior to joining Middletown Medical, Ms. Takacs provided care to patients at Albany Medical Center and Albany Memorial Hospital, both in Albany, N.Y, as well as Arbour Hospital in Jamaica Plain, Mass. She also served as a research assistant in the Causal Cognition Lab in Boston, Mass.

In addition to her physician assistant license, Ms. Takacs has also earned specialty certifications in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Ms. Takacs earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y. She received her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., and her Associate of Science in General Biology and Chemistry from Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Ms. Takacs is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
