Dr. Tashman completed his medical schooling and residency training at New York Medical College in Valhalla and the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Tashman was honored to be appointed chief resident for his final and extra year of pediatric training. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has Fellowship status granted to him by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Tashman has served the needs of children in Orange and Sullivan counties for over a decade. Dr. Tashman is also fluent in Spanish. He is on staff at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, where he has previously served as the Chairman of the Pediatric Department.

Dr. Tashman has a strong interest in academic teaching, and has been a preceptor of first year medical students at New York Medical College. His experience and compassion assures trusted pediatric care for children and adolescents as well as support and guidance for parents.
He is married and has 2 children. He enjoys baseball- especially his Anaheim Angels, woodworking, and family time.
