MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (January 20, 2015) — Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, is proud to announce that its Middletown Urgent Care Center (111 Maltese Drive) has earned recertification for excellence from the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA).
In making the announcement earlier this month, the UCAOA recognized just 144 facilities nationwide for certification or recertification, with each certified center meeting specific nationally-standardized criteria which clearly describe the level of services provided. Each certified center accepts unscheduled, walk-in patients during all hours of operation, is equipped with x-ray and laboratory services and a licensed provider is always available to perform minor procedures including casting and suturing.
“We’re extremely honored to be recertified by the UCAOA, as it validates our mission to offer the finest Urgent Care services in the region,” said Lori Marl, Operations Director.
The Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) Certified Urgent Care (CUC) program has been the leading force to define and answer what is an urgent care center. CUC facilities have met nationally standardized criteria, demonstrating their commitment to provide patients with high-level care.
