MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, has announced the addition of Dr. Ravi Ramaswamy, a board-certified nephrologist trained in all aspects of nephrology, including kidney disease and its causes. Dr. Ramaswamy is treating patients at 75 Maltese Drive in Middletown.
Dr. Ramaswamy completed his fellowship in nephrology in 2000 at the New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and has treated patients through various positions at healthcare facilities throughout New York and India.
“Dr. Ramaswamy will be an asset to so many of our patients who struggle with hypertension and kidney disease,” said Melissa Wolff, the medical group’s Marketing Director, and Physician Recruiter. “We are very excited to have Dr. Ramaswamy join our team of highly-trained nephrologists and our patients are eager to schedule appointments.”
Dr. Ramaswamy received his initial training in India, earning his Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery from Mysore University. Dr. Ramaswamy, a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Examinations in India, is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
