MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (June 25, 2014) — Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, is pleased to announce that Dr. Narender Goel, a Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, has been designated by the American Society of Hypertension (ASH) as an ASH Specialist in Clinical Hypertension.
In successfully passing a rigid qualifying examination, this prestigious designation for Dr. Goel is valid for 10 years, and will offer Middletown Medical patients yet another invaluable resource in the prevention and treatment of hypertension.

Dr. Goel joined Middletown Medical last year, bringing many years of highly-respected patient care and research to his position. He is an expert in providing in-patient medical care, nephrology consultations for kidney failure, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, hypertension, kidney stones and electrolyte abnormalities.
Previously a Clinical Fellow in the Division of Nephrology with the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, Dr. Goel has also served on staff at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York City, and Bellevue Hospital Center (NYU), also in New York.
In addition, Dr. Goel has performed extensive research, is well published, and has given countless presentations over the past several years. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.
