MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (July 9, 2014) — Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, is pleased to announce an update to its already-popular iPhone app.
Available for free at the Apple iTunes Store, and originally launched this past April, the updated version (1.5) features a variety of enhancements to even more conveniently serve the needs of its patients, such as:
- Improved user interface.
- More convenient and quicker downloading.
- The ability to add physicians to a “favorites” list for quicker access to contact info, scheduling an appointment, and more.
- Twitter feed on home page.
- Updated physician/staff listings, including photos.

As always, the iPhone app allows convenient scheduling of appointments at any of Middletown Medical’s 10 locations throughout Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties, as well as the latest news and information, daily health tips, and more.
Middletown Medical’s iPhone app is the first of its kind for a healthcare service provider in Orange County, and in the near future, another updated version (1.8) will be released, which will include a chat feature (real-time communication for questions and more), instant notification when an appointment has been confirmed, and more. An Android app is also being developed, and is scheduled to be released this fall.
