MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (July 31, 2014) — Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Arpine Saribekyan, who will practice Family Medicine and Palliative Care.
Dr. Saribekyan is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician also specializing in Palliative Care. She comes to Middletown Medical from the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pa., where she completed a Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship, and brings with her years of varied experience.
“We’re excited to have Dr. Saribekyan as part of our team,” said Lori Marl, Operations Director. “Her expertise in palliative care will allow us to expand our offerings into this area to better serve our patients, and she also gives us another outstanding Family Medicine physician.”
Dr. Saribekyan previously spent several years with Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she completed both her Family Medicine Residency and Internship, and was also a House Physician in the Department of OB/GYN.
Beginning her medical career in her native Armenia, Dr. Saribekyan graduated from Yerevan State Medical University, then went on to complete a Critical Care and Pain Management Residency, followed by several years as a Critical Care Physician and Anesthesiologist.
Well published on a variety of quality of life topics, Dr. Saribekyan is also a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
