MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (September 2, 2014) — Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sharon Valencia, Podiatrist.
Podiatry will be Middletown Medical’s newest Specialty Medicine, and Dr. Valencia brings more than 20 years of compassionate experience in diagnosing and treating medical and surgical conditions of the lower extremity, including those resulting from bone and joint disorders, infectious diseases, muscular pathologies, as well as neurological, metabolic, and circulatory diseases.
“We’re so pleased to welcome Dr. Valencia to the Middletown Medical family,” said Lori Marl, Operations Director. “She’s established herself in this area as one of the premier podiatrists for many years, and this allows us to expand our offerings to our patients.”

In addition, she’s been a Consulting Podiatrist with Elant Inc. in Goshen (also since 1996), providing palliative care for several senior facilities, including nursing homes, adult homes and senior day care programs.
A graduate of New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, Dr. Valencia earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from The College of Mt. St. Vincent in New York. She completed a Surgical Residency with St. Mary Hospital in Hoboken, N.J.
