MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – Middletown Medical’s own Dr. Apurva Motivala, MD, FACC, FSCAI, was an Organizing Committee Faculty member and presenter at the TCT India Next 2015 conference, held from Aug. 14 through Aug. 16 in Bengaluru, India.
Dr. Motivala, a well-respected interventional cardiologist, joined colleagues from around the world for what is considered India’s Premier Interventional Experience.
Dr. Motivala addressed the conference on the use of stents and heart attack. His presentation posed the question: How many arteries should be fixed using stents during a massive heart attack? The ensuing discussion amongst multiple international experts in the field centered on the various strategies in application today, and attempted to reach an answer that has yet to be clearly defined.
