Middletown Medical has always valued our relationship with you, as a personal relationship. We have always tried to make the physician-patient relationship a core value.
This relationship has now been put into jeopardy because of your insurance company, United Healthcare.
In spite of the covid pandemic, high inflation prices, and increasing labor shortage, they are refusing to negotiate an increase in what we get paid from them. We have been left with no choice but to terminate our Medicare Advantage agreement with United Healthcare effective January 1, 2024.
This termination will not impact you if you are covered by United through an employer retiree plan.

These companies have graciously agreed to be on-site to answer your questions and concerns.
During the Medicare open enrollment period, which begins on October 15, 2023, you will have the opportunity to select a new Medicare Advantage Plan for 2024. We encourage you to review all of your options. by calling 1-800-MEDICARE or online at Medicare.gov. We, as your providers, are also available to respond to any questions you might have.
