The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) has recognized Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, for its “Superior Performance” in patient satisfaction as compared with similar medical groups nationwide.
The MGMA “Better Performer” recognition was given to Middletown Medical based on the results of MGMA’s 2016 Successful Groups Survey.
Middletown Medical has received MGMA recognition for its superior performance for many of the last few years. The award-winning multi-specialty physicians’ group offers patient care at its 20 locations throughout Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties.
MGMA, which produces some of the most credible and robust medical practice economic data and data solutions in the industry, released its findings in its Performance and Practices of Successful Medical Groups: 2016 Report. The report is generated by collecting data from thousands of medical practices nationwide in a variety of surveys that cover provider compensation and production, management and staff compensation, cost and revenue, and practice operations. This aggregated data is also used to determine the Better Performers selected for the year.
MGMA member medical practices represent more than 40 percent of the physicians providing healthcare services in the United States. The MGMA’s Performance and Practices of Successful Medical Groups report has been the nationally recognized benchmarking standard among medical groups for more than a decade.
“MGMA collects its information from such a large number of practices, many of which are associated with major academic medical centers,” said Melissa Wolff, the medical group’s Marketing Director and Physician Recruiter. “Middletown Medical prides itself on our focus on personalized patient care. We are extremely grateful to have its recognition for our commitment to patient satisfaction.”
