MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (December 19, 2014) — Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, is pleased to announce the addition of Kelli Gassert, P.A.-C, a Certified Physician Assistant based in the Middletown location (111 Maltese Drive).
“We were very impressed with Kelli’s commitment to compassionate patient care, and we’re delighted she’s now part of our team,” said Lori Marl, Operations Director.
Kelli comes to Middletown Medical from Montefiore Medical Center – Jack D. Weiler Hospital in the Bronx, where she was a full-time Certified Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department. During this time, she also worked on a per diem basis with North Central Bronx Hospital, also in the Emergency Department.
A cum laude graduate of Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, where she was also in the Liberal Arts Honors Program, Kelli then went on to earn a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Pace University’s Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program in New York. During these latter studies, she completed nine clerkships, and in specialty medicines such as Family Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Obstetrics/Gynecology, among others.
Kelli is Board Certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
