Middletown Medical, the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of healthcare services, welcomes certified Family Nurse Practitioner Michelle Galligan to its team of healthcare professionals.
Mrs. Galligan will be providing care at River Valley Medical, Middletown Medical’s Ball Street location in Port Jervis, with Dr. Richard Daboul, as well as Middletown Medical’s urgent care offices in Middletown, Chester, and Ellenville.
“Michelle is an accomplished and well-rounded nurse practitioner; she joins our team ready to provide the level of excellence in care expected of Middletown Medical,” said Lori Marl, Operations Director. “As a nurse practitioner, her skills and experience allow us to further expand and enhance the services to which our patients have access.”
Mrs. Galligan joins Middletown Medical from Orange Regional Medical Center, where she worked in the Intensive Care, Progressive Care, and Oncology Units. While at ORMC, Mrs. Galligan also served as a magnet resource for its Critical Care Unit (CCU), and was involved with keeping CCU staff abreast of developments in ORMC’s progress toward magnet recognition.
Mrs. Galligan’s other certifications include Progressive Care, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Trauma Nursing Core Course.
Mrs. Galligan earned her RN status at SUNY Sullivan. She also attended Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Ill., where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She recently earned her Master’s degree in Nursing with honors from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y.
