Dr. Imran Ahmed is a dedicated and patient-focused physician who provides comprehensive Family Medicine care at Middletown Medical, PC. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Prior to joining Middletown Medical, Dr. Ahmed was serving patients at Garnet Health Doctors - Family Medicine in White Lake, N.Y. He has also worked within a private practice for family medicine in White Lake, N.Y.; and as an Emergency Department Physician at both St. Joseph Medical Center in Stamford, Conn. and Norwalk Urgicare Center in Norwalk, Conn.

Dr. Ahmed also serves as an Associate Professor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, N.Y.

Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree from the Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan and his Master of Public Health from New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He completed his Family Practice Residency at St. Joseph Medical Center/New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. and his Surgery Residency at the Stony Brook University Hospital Department of Surgery in Stony Brook, N.Y.

Dr. Ahmed is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Society of New York, and the Association of Physicians of Pakistani descent of North America.

During his time with Garnet Health Medical Center, Dr. Ahmed served as a member of the
Medical Executive Committee, the Utilization Management Committee, as a Chair of the
Credential Committee, and as Vice President of Medical Staff, and on the Board of Directors.
