William Cieplinski , MD



Dr. William Cieplinski is a dedicated and patient-focused physician providing care to patients within Middletown Medical, PC’s Hematology & Oncology Division. He is Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Cieplinski formerly served Middletown Medical patients from 2020 through 2022 and has returned to the practice to continue his care.

He has also worked with Mid‐Valley Oncology‐Hematology and St. Luke's Hospital, both located in Warwick, N.Y.; the Meadowlands Hospital and Medical Center located in Meadowlands, N.J.; a Private Practice in Hematology‐Oncology in Warwick, N.Y.; and Goshen Medical Associates located in Goshen, N.Y.

Dr. Cieplinski also served as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology‐Oncology for the University of Connecticut located in Hartford, Conn. He has also served as Chief of Oncology at the Newington VA Hospital located in Newington, Conn.

Dr. Cieplinski earned his Medical Degree from the Universidad Nacional AutĂłnoma de MĂ©xico, located in Mexico City, Mexico. He completed his Post‐Graduate Studies in Biochemistry from the Instituto Nacional de Cardiologia/National Institute in Mexico City, Mexico. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore located in Baltimore, MD. He earned both his PhD in Biochemistry and his Doctoral Fellowship in Biology from Johns Hopkins University located in Baltimore, MD. He also completed a Fellowship in Hematology‐Oncology at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center, Einstein School of Medicine located in New York, N.Y.

Dr. Cieplinski holds hospital privileges at Garnet Health Medical Center located in Middletown.

He is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Yiddish, Hebrew, and Italian.
