Maureen Lewis is an LMSW who earned her Master's in Social Work from NYU's Silver School of Social Work, and her BA in Human Services from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY. Maureen decided to continue on to her master's degree because of her belief in talk therapy, her drive to connect with others and uplift her community, and because she has always had a desire to help others through challenges. While in her master's program, Maureen focused on chronic illness care and how physical illness can impact mental health.

Prior to social work, Maureen worked as a Care Manager for geriatric populations and Health Homes Case Worker, serving adults and teens in Rockland and Orange Counties.

Maureen is originally from Orange County and takes pride in being able to give back to her community and provide services to all ages. Maureen specializes in DBT therapies, CBT and Strengths building, as well as incorporates trauma work and meditation/breath exercises.

In her spare time, Maureen enjoys hiking, reading, watching movies, and live music. Maureen lives locally with her husband, son, and two cats. Maureen is taking new clients at this time.
