Chelsea is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College, where she also received the Sr. Leona DeBoer Graduate Nursing Award for nursing excellence.

With over a decade of experience in various avenues of healthcare delivery ranging from pediatric care, pharmaceuticals, bedside nursing, and nursing academics, Chelsea found a calling caring for acutely and critically ill patients while working as a critical care registered nurse at Garnet Health Medical Center's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Middletown, NY. Throughout this time, she sharpened her skillset in high-stress situations to provide exceptional quality care. With the COVID-19 pandemic being the milestone of her career, she became particularly passionate about mental health due to the trauma she helped her patients, and their families navigate through. This experience inspired Chelsea to pursue her advanced training and Psychiatry and Mental Health certification.

Outside of her clinical practice, Chelsea enjoys family time as a wife and mother, exercise, gardening, meditation, traveling, swimming, lounging at the beach, hiking, exploring museums, and trying new ice creams.
