Dr. Bradley D. Wiener is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who also holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications(CAQ) in Sports Medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Certificate of Added Qualifications(CAQ) in Interpretation of Functional Ability through the International Academy of Independent Medical Evaluators.
Dr. Wiener is sports medicine specialist, focusing on complex shoulder and knee conditions. As an associate clinical professor with NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases, he has been actively involved in resident and fellow education within the shoulder department.
Dr. Wiener earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. after completing is Bachelor of Arts in biology at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.
He completed both his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency through St. Vincent’s Hospital & Medical Center in New York, N.Y. (now closed), before completing a fellowship in sports medicine and reconstructive surgery at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, Pa (now closed).
Dr. Wiener is a member and instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a fellow of the International Academy of Independent Medical Evaluators, and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. In addition, Dr. Wiener is a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Society of the State of New York, Medical Society of the County of Orange, and a New York State Trooper Surgeon.
