Angela Marcelino, D.O.
Angela Marcelino, D.O., is the Director of Middletown Medical’s Hematology and Oncology program and currently seeing patients at our 111 Maltese Drive in Middletown. She specializes in the treatment of all types of cancers and blood disorders. Dr. Marcelino recently worked for SUNY Downstate Medical Center. During her time at SUNY Downstate, Dr. Marcelino worked on quality improvement and with the Institutional Review Board on the Scientific Review Committee where she presented and reviewed multiple study proposals. Dr. Marcelino previously worked in genetic research at the Tischfield Laboratory of Rutgers College and has clinical research experience at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is a member of multiple organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and American Medical Association (AMA).
Dr. Marcelino is a graduate of Rutgers College of New Brunswick, N.J., where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Genetics. She then earned her medical degree through Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in NYC. She completed her residency at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she also completed a Hematology and Oncology fellowship serving as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Marcelino is dedicated to her patients and not only wants to provide great care but also individualizes her care for the needs of each patient.
