Morning workouts are a wonderful way to start the day, and Dr. Nisha Pillai (Cardiology) offers a few quick tips:
1) Don’t overdo it! (you want to enjoy it enough to do it every day, so start with no more than 15 minutes);
2) Stretch! (spend at least 5 minutes stretching and limbering up);
3) Sweat! (if you’re not breaking a sweat, you’re not benefiting);
4) Then eat a good breakfast! (the best fueling you can do for your body).
