After the winter we all endured, it’s hard to believe Memorial Day weekend is here, isn’t it?!
However, let’s not go overboard in celebrating the gateway to summer. Some health tips:
1) Try natural alternatives for mosquito repellent (spray on a diluted liquid garlic concentrate or apply vinegar or soybean oil on your skin instead);
2) Loading up on red, yellow and orange fruits and vegetables have carotenoids that may help naturally reduce sunburn risk;
3) When grilling, coat meats and the grill with olive oil to ensure great flavor, as well as to avoid potential carcinogens.
