As we’re now seeing some true summer weather (and temperatures into the 90s), it’s important to educate yourself on heat stroke, which is more serious than heat exhaustion.
Heat stroke symptoms may include:
1) A throbbing headache,
2) Dizziness and light-headedness,
3) Lack of sweating despite the heat,
4) Muscle weakness or cramps,
5) Nausea and vomiting, among other symptoms.
Our doctors advise calling 911 immediately, as this is a very serious and potentially life-threatening situation.
