Juvenile-Arthritis-KidsJuvenile Arthritis (JA) is quite prevalent, according to Dr. Stuart Tashman, Director of our Pediatric Express Center, and consists of 100 different diseases or conditions that destroy joints, bones, muscles, cartilage and other connective tissues, hampering or halting physical movement.

A swelling in one or more joints for at least six weeks in a child 16 or under is cause for a diagnosis.
